We are proud to announce that Ethan’s Heart Bags4Blessings, based in Birmingham, Alabama, has been selected as a 2025 Riley’s Way Call for Kindness Fellow! This national honor recognizes youth-led organizations that lead with compassion and action—and we are honored to carry this mission forward with purpose and pride.
As part of this fellowship, Founder Ethan D. Hill launched a powerful new initiative: the Ethan’s Heart Youth Leadership Council.
This council is made up of some of the brightest and most impactful student leaders in our region—each one chosen for their character, commitment to service, and passion for making a difference. The Council will play a central role in expanding Ethan’s Heart’s mission, deepening our outreach efforts, and shaping how we serve unhoused and at-risk communities.
The Ethan’s Heart Youth Leadership Council empowers young leaders to:
Take an active role in serving the homeless and vulnerable populations through hands-on outreach
Advocate for those experiencing hardship, displacement, and food insecurity
Engage and uplift marginalized and at-risk youth by creating pathways for them to serve, lead, and give back
Develop their leadership, communication, and service skills through real-world community engagement
This Council reflects what’s possible when youth lead with heart, humility, and bold vision.
